Default My overheating saga - Fan Clutch Behavior?

I've been having an overheating problem at idle for some time. It's never actually overheated because I watch it closely, but here are the symptoms. When I idle for more than 10 minutes or so with the AC running it climbs to over 1 tick past middle. Tstat is new along with water pump. I just replaced the coolant tank yesterday due to a crack, but only marginal results in the problem. Here is my latest finding. While idling, I can hold back the fan clutch with my pinky as there is no resistance. Is this normal or have I found my problem?

They're about $100 aftermarket. I don't know about the dealer. You say your car was doing the same thing? Can you confirm that your new clutch had different behavior? Thanks, I just want to be sure.

The fan is toast, get a new one.

Bleed your coolant system, you should not be overheating at all. The new thermostat might be sticking.

Well, I thought the fan clutch fixed the problem but it didn't. It helped, but still not completely fixed. I don't know what's left. I can't get the bleeder plug out because it's stripped and impossible to get a pair of vice grips on. I think it must be the thermostat. It's a bit intermittent too.
