I just recently purchased a 2000 S4, and i was just wondering aboutthe engine. The revs do not go past 5000 rpms in any gear expect in 3rd and 5th and 6th. I was just wondering if there is a rev limiter in that particular model, and/or if anyone else has this same problem. Also if it could be changed or fixed that would be nice to know. Thanks

 

Yes, there is a rev limiter, but that will be removed if you get a chip. APR or GIAC chips are the way to go. Get new DV's and an upgrade for the TBB as well.
