Hello all,

I've been searching for a car for a few months now. I come from the BMW world having owned a 318ti, M3, and now a swapped e30.

I have always liked Audi's and found a 2000 S4 with 99K miles. Blue with white/cream leather. Owner has receipts for all the maintenance done by him which include: Tbelt, water pump, turbos, and some engine work. I just test drove it and it ran smooth and handled great. Pulled hard like an M3.

Its lowered on Bilsteins, has a Remus exhaust, drilled and slotted rotors.

He is the 3rd owner and bought the car off ebay. He stated the car has an Rtitle for water damage from the previous owner who left the moonroof open. He said they swapped out the seats. He said that when he transfered the title to PA that the Rtitle was removed....I don't know if thats possible???

The car also has a small dent over the passenger rear fender. Other than that she has a clean body.

He was asking $8k but said he would do $7k because of the title history. I would like to offer $6.5k

What do you guys think?? I forgot to snap some pics with the blackberry but I can always do that tommorrow.


Please advise....

 

ya if bought out of state car doesnt keep a salvaged title... 8 is a good price for that mileage and if the maint. has all been done.
