is this stuff any good? if not, what do you guys recommend for a 2005 S4? im new to the Audi world and am trying to get an idea of the brand names that work best with this car. I remember way back in the day when I used to mess around with 16V GTIs, Neuspeed was the way to go if you owned a VW or Audi.

 

Personally I haven't looked into them, from what I can gather so far (I'm looking for my 05 S4 also), some other names to look into are Remus, APR, Borla, Miltek. I'm doing some research here and on the manufactures site. Louder isn't necessarily better...after all our cars have class!

 

Borla, Miltek and Remus are all companies I know make good stuff. From reading some posts, the miltek sounds llike the way to go, BUT i didn't like what they sounded, which is not the most important thing, but I dont want it loud in the cabin. I figured between good exhausts. the differences would be minute and if one is quieter than the other Id rather go with that.

 

Keep me posted on which you take, be interested in sound byte/video if you find something before me

I'm owning a B5 2001.5 S4 and i have a Neuspeed SS exhaust and i love it !
The exterior sound is nice and interior is quiet with a touch of sportivness.
More than that would be anoying to me. They sell a great product !

 

thanks, thant what i want to hear, the Milteks seem to be the choice, everytime I see an S4 it tends to have them. They sound amazing, but too loud.......now I know am getting old.
