Default New to Audi Forums

Hello! I am the new owner of a 2001 Audi S4, just wanted to say hello to everyone and ask a few questions while im at it:
Ok first off ive searched a little and noticed that synthetic Mobile 1 5-30 is the most common choice for motor oil, my question is what filter should i be running?
Next question ive noticed alot of chatter about this air box mod but my searches for anything on how to actually complete this have been fruitless.
Seeing how i just bought the car it has 76,000 miles on it, i was wondering if she was about due for a fluid change Meaning( Tranny, Diffs, Transfer cases) and what would be the correct gear oil weight and if i should run synthetic or not.
And the last question...timing belt and water pump...any write ups on how to do this or input on how hard it actually is to complete.
Again thanks to everyone

Welcome, read the FAQ, your questions will be answered.

Change all the fluids, & use a quality Synthetic fluid.

thanks for the response, yes i do plan on modding it slightly. Im probably going to do a chip and a full exhaust(header back) i dont really want to get to much in to modding the engine because i want it to be a reliable daily driver. I read somewhere that there is at turbo warm up/cool down procedure any word on that? Also will any K03 turbo charger work for our vehicles because at this time i can get a pretty good deal on a couple of them i think i might want to pick them up for down the road when the inevitable happens.

K04's are much more reliable then K03's & they are special for our cars.
