Default new to audi, looking at s4

Recently i have started to look for a more reliable car then my dsm. ive always liked audi's so i really want an s4. now, i dont know much about how they are built, what to look for. im looking at a 2000 s4 with like 100k miles at an audi dealer. i want to make sure that a audi with higher mileage is still going to be a good daily driver. i just wanted to get a little background on these cars. how they drive, parts breakage, anything. thanks alot.

I'd go for one with less miles. Original turbos in the one with 100k?

less miles is probably better. but if you've got the money, you could do a turbo upgrade and do some other things to make the car run like it's new. but that would cost you a very pretty penny.

The turbos on the s4's usually go bad around 80,000-100,000 miles. So buying one with 100,000 miles wouldnt be such a good idea.

dont know that id say they usually go bad inbetween that mile range... its so up in the air and unpredicatble when or where.. ive seen cars in the upper 100's with the turbos and ive seen them go bad at 30k...
