If your in trafic most of the time then honestly dont waste your time with a manual, unless you really want to shift
have that feeling of sports car all the time. I think at this point, if you go with a b5 get a stick, mod it have fun. If
you go b6 take the auto dont worry about modding it and be happy, just an opinion.

plus u might have a little more luck modifying the a 6 speed vs a tip, i know it CAN be done with tiptronic, just look at 2KS4's car, but manual trannys are usually better for modding too a higher level

Thanks, but the TIPS can handle all the power a 6sp can. Really to modify a TIP for high HP, all you need is a TC for $1000 & maybe a VB for $750. Then you are DONE for ever! Basically it's the price of a high end clutch & flywheel.

The TIPS are geared higher, so they are a little nicer with much higher HP, you don't bang off the REV limiter so much.
