Default New b5 s4 owner.

Hi, just got my B5 S4. Been shopping for a long time, picked this one up with 58k miles, Stage 1 MTM Chip and Porsche DVs, stock otherwise.
Coming from a Bugeye WRX, very different cars. Love the S4: 6MT, Winter Package, Silver Alcantara, NAV, , but the Subie feels a bit quicker, and handles better, at the moment.

Looking forward to turning this thing into a beast down the road. Going to do piggies, exhaust, TBB, AWE DTS, JHM SS, Snub mount, sways and STG 2 chip for now. Definitely plan to upgrade turbos later. Hoping GTs come down in price by then.

Question: Does anyone know if B6 S4 18" Avuses fit without spacers? I love stock-looking cars but I want to fill in some wheel-gap and don't want to lower it much.

Here's a photo:

Congrats Man! Love the S4. I lowered my car but not slammed it and got 2004 S4 rims to fit with 10mm spacers. If you don't use spacers the spokes barely, I mean BARELY scrapes on the calipers. I like the spaced out look though. It looks squatier and more aggresive. I didn't like payin the huge amount to pay for them though!

Drobrt, do you have any photos of your car with Avuses and spacers?

These are all 18" Avus wheels, first ones are form the S8, the others are from the B6 S4. Im sure most have spacers.

Nice plate haha im jealous of you nogaro owners.

I was thinking of a new one for this year. Top of the list right now are BMWHAT, 1FastS4, 400AWHP (once the k04's are in), or SCHNELL

Thanks for the photos all. The Casa Avant looks about stock ride height, a little too much gap on the front for me. Drobrt, yours is about perfect. What ride height are you set at? Looks like 10mm spacers are max before you start poking out past the fenders.

Yea I'm glad I went with the 10mm spacers. I guess a could have gone a little wider but then it would have been kicking up everything. I only have Eibach Pro-kit springs. I wish I had coilovers but I didn't have the cash at the time.

I like BMWHAT. But 400AWHP would be pretty sweet.

Found the answer: 5mm spacers will fit. Some have reported scraping on the calipers without spacers. A 3mm spacer or larger eliminates this problem. I'll post pics when I get the new shoes on. I'd like a little larger spacer, but the guy that's selling me the wheels is selling me the spacers for about half price. I'm also throwing on a set of Stasis Street Sport Coilovers.
