Yeah it is expensive, all you really need is a set of coilovers like the vogtlands, theyre about $1000. Iv never heard of doing tie rods or controll arms too but lowering it does give you some negative camber that cant be adjusted out. Stern sells the only adjustable controll arms on the markert for our cars (to my knowledge) to fix that problem . Really most people just use stock controll arms and get by just fine. My tie rods went bed at 53k miles, im sure yours will crap out eventually it happens to everyone.

Am i the only one that likes the stock wheels? Maybe its because iv never had them on my car....

I love stock Avus wheels. I just put on 18" B6 Avus wheels 'cause I wanted more Avus. Too bad they're 27 lbs.

I'd say, if you were going to put on wheels that were sub-20lbs, to go with the wheels. Then you have the best of all worlds: improved looks, improved handling, and lighter wheels reduces rotational mass and frees up whp. Lighter wheels reduce unsprung weight, which allows your suspension to react quicker, which improves handling. Every pound you lose of wheel rotational mass corresponds to lightening your car about 3 lbs., so for an 18 lb. wheel on each corner, that equates with over 100 lbs. weight reduction from your cabin.

tell you what sour ill trade you my stock avus's for your set of wheels..straight up. i hate them soo much. idk if my tie rods were ever replaced but my car pulls to the right. and whenever i go over bumps i get a weird kind of grinding noise. coilovers would be nice but again i dont want to spend a grand on all that when a grand could pay for almost a full engine rebuild on my other car. KLB-i know what you're sayin on the rotational mass. on my last car i slapped some 40lb wheels and tires on all corners and the car had a huge drop in power compared to the light weight aluminum wheels it had stock. it drove me nuts for awhile but i got used to it until winter time when i slapped on the old stockers. i was like woah instant power! lol

GOOD CALL! and what a deal too. I bet its gonna (does?) sound sweet with the flowmaster. Any videos? You still have precats, maincats, and 1 muffler so i cant imagine it being too loud. Louder than my cat ATM thoug
