Default Newbie here- Just took delivery of 2008 S4

Picked it on Friday. 2008 19k miles CPO. Beautiful and amazing car. It still needs an alignment but otherwise perfect and couldn't be happier. My first Audi from many BMW's, etc...

Thanks for all the info from this site.

mine squeak consistently, especially at low speeds like stop and go traffic.

a lot of the brake squeak depends on what brake pads you have. the short answer is yes. some brands of pad squeak more than others but pretty much all of them can/will squeak under certain conditions.

you shouldn't have to worry unless you hear grinding, crunching, or squealing.

No problem skipping gears with the manual. Gear choices are all about revs and speed.
