Default No heat

My 01 S4 seems to make very little heat. The thermostat is new (changed with water pump and timing belt 6k ago). Has anyone had any luck flushing the heater core. I talked to the dealer and they said likely it is a partially blocked core.
Any help is appreciated, I am in PA and its cold and snowing.
Thanks

I am going to try a flush method an Audi tech I know uses. I'll let you all know if it works. Could save a ton of cash versus changing the core.
