NOOB QUESTION WARNING!!!
Hello, im sad that my first post will have to be this question but I been in this forum for the past 2 months and have read alot and learn alot. but my question may be noob or may be trouble, so here it is, I removed my passenger intercooler and from the lower hose came some oil (like half a 1/4) and my question is, is this normal? is it suppose to have oil thru it? because my first though was that It worked like an oil cooler as well but I dont know so I rather ask the people who knows better . If this is not normal than what gasket got F*** up? btw my car is an s4 2000 (tip, FTW~ ~ ~)

first, wtf is a "half a 1/4"? maybe half a quart? The gasket that is f'd up are the oil seals in the turbos, allowing some oil to get by. The I/C's (intercoolers) should be dry, but i wouldnt be concerned with a little bit of oil. I pull my lower IC hoses every oil change to inspect/ drain any oil out of the system. The first time i did it i got a little oil out, after that, its been a drip here and there.
Some oil is ok, it's blow by from the PVC system, check the drivers side, it should have more in it, that's usually where it pools.
If the car is from the Snow belt, it seams to put more oil in there as the PVC system gets frosted shut.

All i know is a WANT THE TCU so bad. Just reading about the stats make me drool. 1sec down to .2 second shift times. That's insane.
Also, GIAC seems to offer the upgrade at $500. So if you were to get a ECU and TCU upgrade, it should run about $1095ish.
But I will say that will be one, if not the first, performance upgrades i do to my TiP

so my turbos are going bad then? and also out of topic 2k s4 can you explain me if you dont mind how much of a difference is the tip-tranny chip?

The TCU chip (it's REALLY a soldered chip) is a nice upgrade for a chipped car, it doesn't hunt gears, & it shifts faster. Also it raised the gears redline, so you don't hit the trans limp mode.
Also!! can someone tell me where can I find diagrams or pictures of where the coolant hoses out of my radiator bottle goes? I pretty much figure out all of them but the one is right underneth/below it that one I dont know where it goes I will really appreacite if someone can help me here..... again! Thanks
Just going back to the oil in the I/C hose if I may.
So it would be a good Idea for me to pull that off next oilchange and check it out. and empty any oil thats in there? also is there anyway to replace the Turbo gaskets or is that something I do when i get K04's
