hey guys new to the forum and s4 i need to replace the front axles on my 00 6spd s4 and cant seem to find remans at the usual parts stores any advice on where to go besides the stealership

 

I got one at CarQuest a few weeks back for about 90 bucks. When I got it home to compare it to the one that was in the car it looked really weak and cheesy. I decided not to put it in. I ended up ordering one from www.raxles.com and have been very happy with it. It was about 175 plus shipping, but matches OEM quality exactly. Better than the 475 that my deal wanted!

also what size is the 12pt tool i found a tutorial that said 8mm but mine are a lot bigger then that
