2000-2002 = b5
2004-2005 = b6
2006+ = b7
This is for the s4 and audi actually did not make an s4 in 2003. The number just represents the body style, so whenever a new model s4 comes out they add a number.

waiting until August, eh? well, i'm sure it will be well worth it. you guys are lucky!. just be sure to take lots of pics and poist them for those of us less fortunate souls that have to live vicariously through you.
