Default OTS K04 Kits

Taking Awe's kit for example: Does it really make 360whp from 93 pump gas? Does anybody have this kit and seen the dyno results (besides whats on their website)?

I figure its a 6k+ investment. Its not far fetched to think that the companies taking this amount of money are going to post the best possible dyno results they were able to achieve.
So I'm just wondering if anybody has unbiased average results of what to expect at the wheels on a day to day basis.

I'd hate to get the work done... have it dynoed and find out I only gained around 40whp.

haha the results will be there. The same turbos with more agressive fueling and tuning can put down 400 whp. It also depends on altitude, temperature, and what performance parts you have (IE piggies vs ASP 3" or IPP intercoolers vs ER intercoolers.)

"2001.5 S4

- H&R COILOVERS
- RS4 WHEELS
- S FLO INTAKE
- DTS BAR
- A.W.E BOOST GAUGE
- APR BI PIPE
- BAILEYS DIVERTER VALVES "

Just wondering, but what kind of WHP/TQ are you putting down with your current set up? It seems to me, based on what I've been reading, that with the right program, K04s, new injectors, and 93oc, you should be close to (if not over)400hp. Then again, I'm new with this platform, so you tell me.

Personally I've found APR to be quite reputable (and expensive!) And their Stage three advertises,"447 horsepower and 467 foot-pounds of torque at the flywheel on 93 octane gas." And here's their components list http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/a...7ts3_bags.html It seems to me that if you cut out all the fluff (crap you don't really need in that list), other than the items i mentioned previously, you're pretty much set up already. I do want to know what you are putting down on your stock turbos though, if you don't mind.

I got my car dynoed by ASP a couple months ago and it came in at 265whp and 320 ft/lbs torque. So I'm guessing if you were comparing that to what would be at the crank it would be around 330-340hp ish.

I think I'm pretty much maxed out on K03's so I'm gonna have to either be satisfied with the car the way it is or get some K04's
