Can anyone help me. I've just bought an a6 avant le man's s line 2008 , which I love so much i can't tell you, but the ride is so harsh , I'm suffering with low back pain. The car has 19 inch alloys , with michelin low profiles , can I put non low profiles on it , can I reduce tyre pressure , could I buy a spring loaded cusion of some sort, please help, I really love the car, but I'm spending a fortune on ibuprofen .

 

There sould be no reason that you could go down to a 17" wheel. Someone would probably even trade for them.

 

what suspension is on the car? stock?

...maybe you need new shocks too.... what's the tire size?
