Outside Temp Gauge Freaking Out

My outside temp will drop down to -58 degrees on a 80 degree day and make the AC kick off? Has anyone else have this happen?

Failed Low...Swap it out..

happened to me on a road trip this last weekend and went to -58 as well...pissed my girlfriend off and she kept looking at me like it was my fault. What sensor is this exactly?

If you take off the front bumper its the sensor that is right infront of the radiator and is on the same bracket as the power steering cooler.
