oxygen sensor replacement Newbie question...
I am an 01.5 S4 Avant.. I have a Bank 2 oxygen sensor error and want to replace both sensors..
I read somewhere here but can not find it anywhere( I know how to use search...) that you can use VW sensors in our AUDI's and that they are 1/4 the price, you just have to change the plug.. Is this true?? Anyone know the part #'S???
thanks..

RE: oxygen sensor replacement Newbie question...
I want to use whatever I need to use, if the Audi dealer o2 sensor is the best for the car, then I will get them, but if the VW is the same, then I can cut some wires....
So is the ECS 4 wire one better than factory???

RE: oxygen sensor replacement Newbie question...
any o2 sensor out for a late model vehicle is going to be a 4 wire, heating circuits are now mandatory. however i'm about 98% sure that the sensor for the passat 2.8 are the same, as they are basically the same block, heads, etc... many of the parts are interchangable between the two, haha so are a lot of the problems...
