I asked a gentelmen at miami muffler and he says the piggie pipes are not a good idea. Says the pipes are not a consistent diameter going from big to small then back to big if you have a 3" exhauts . Says its bad for the turbos.

^^LOL^^ I also think he doesn't want to put in the work to make them.

1000's, yes, 1000's of S4 are running them with out any adverse effects.

It's like you can make your own AWE S-flow, but does that make it a AWE S-flow? Nope, it's a copy of the S-flow, same with the DPs.
not really. awe s flo has awe parts, a homemade "s flo" would have homemade parts.

piggie pipes are just pipes...nothing you can really change about them, unlike your comparison to thes-flo.You add the new 02 bungs and 400cell cats like VAST, which is what SSPtuning does and you have the EXACT SAME PRODUCT!. SSPtuning has them, ask Greg for "piggie pipes" and he is gonna make you "piggie pipes" that are exactly the same as VAST. lol, there is no argument. I guess it's just a "copy" because it doesn't have the same name....

You just not grasp this concept. The AWE S-flow is a metal tube, did AWE invent the metal tube? Nope. So if you copy the metal tube, it's just a copy.

Vast should have trademarked the name. Piggies are from Vast, all others are copies, end of discussion. There just gutted DP's to be made up like pigges. You just verified this in your statement.

He got you on that one

I just find it kinda sleazy ssp tuning is off my list of people to support. After this thred I don't think any one will be asking "Greg" for much......did Greg ever work at ASP?.........LOL sorry I couldn't resist

Why would any one even think to call a shop and ask them tocopy something Ithey canbuy from a reputable shop that has been making them for years. Maybe I'm old school. but back in the day you would never think of copying another shops work. They would come out with some new way to modify something. these days it seems that there are too many tuners that don't think out side the box and take there own risks......why would they it is easier to copy from the guy that already took the risk time dedication and made it work

As far as im concerned point made there is no more to be said

You don't grasp the concept..Did Piggie invent the OEM Downpipe for the s4? No, he gutted, and so did many others. get over it.

it's a gutted downpipe...there really wasn't a whole lot of thinking going into it...lets think, less backpressure = more power, how can we do that? oh i got it! lets gut the stock downpipes..

its not that original!

Yeah, I 've been to them twice for full exhaust: once for my s/c'd Sonoma, and then for my 1.8t GTi. Let's suffice to say that I have mixed feelings about them, and decided not to have my S4 work done there. They don't know Audi's/VW's that well, and they're just trying to sell you their stuff. It'd probably only go there again for a bolt-on catback, if that.

I can name you several othershops in SFL if you need a reference...
