hi i have 01 s4 auto and just put a new used trans in witch i got out of a running parts car off this forum. i cant get the oil pumped in b.c the pump isnt pulling it in.
so i took it to the shop and they used multiple scanners and cannot get any short of communication with the Transmission control module. all wheel drive module or abs module.
The trans doesn't catch any gears that's b.c of oil that its not in the system can anyone help me out im out of ideas on what to do whit this car.
please help me.

whats funny when i had my old trans in i could drive the car around but once the oil gets hot it cuts out and feels like its in neutral i stop for 40 min and it will drive for little i figured it was the clutch inside the trans or the tc.. i had communication with trans to read the code on the trans thru vag-com when i put trans in and i just had a incorrect gear ratio code after cleared never came back..
