hey, im thinking of powercoating my stock rims black or a dark gunmetal. Was wondering of what u guys think of this, and if anyone knows what this might cost

I forgot who it is, but someone on here with a laser red s4 powdercoated his blakc, and it looks really nice, he can give u the info you need.

Personally, I dont like it just because I think it looks sort of cheep, but hey it's your car.

Agreed, I have yet to see an S4 that looks good with powedercoated wheels. The color doesn't compliment anything else on the car so it just stands out in a bad way IMO.

i have my stock spare wheels black powder coating and it doesn't look right and my car is dolphin grey, it depends on the color of your car.

I personally like gunmetal on certain color cars. I have seen a black s4 with the stock wheels painted gunmetal, I think it complimented it nicely. Just my 2 cents

thanks i dont think im going to do it anymore, just save up money for some nice rims

yeah if i were you i'd just save money for new wheels... the price range on powdercoating is anywhere from $50 - 100 a wheel, then again you have to find someone that does a really good job, cuz you make a little mistake and the wheel looks like crap. IMO i'd just get new wheels all together.
