that stuff isnt cheap! im gonna try febi, apparently its the same stuff but 10 bucks cheaper. granted pentosin is only 20 bucks but come on its power steering fluid. i can get a quart for like 5 bucks at a local autoshop...ps i still hate my car
How exactly do you flush your power steering fluid because i def. need to do that as well but have no clue how to flush the system. A friend who drives a sti told me he cant just straight up "flush" his system on his car and I assumed that the b5 s4 is way different than some ricer japanese car. If any of you guys could link me to a write up or if its simple enough to just describe yourself it would be appreciated.
btw if i dont need to flush the whole system and change the filter that would be nice to know as well.... I just noticed sourD said that he just added the fluid and was fine... if this is true ill have to just try that first.

dont overfill tho... what i did was jacked up the front end, took a turkey baster and sucked out the fluid one pump at a time, then i turned the wheel back and forth a bunch of times to get as much of the fluid out as i could then refilled and turned the wheel back and forth to get it flowin through again then turned on the engine and had a buddy top it off as i kept turning the wheel back and forth. then drove around for a couple minutes and double checked the level. it was good for a couple days but came back so im going to use a different fluid next
