Resetting ECU

Simple DUH question from a newbie! How do I reset the ECU?

Remove from the car for a while then plug back in.

Or just disconnect the battery for a while.

...and make sure to have your radio code if you unplug the battery!

you only need to remove the ground wire then turn on any lights and other electrics to ensure the system is drained Ie like back up systems and leave it for at least 20 mins
