This guy is talking about a "riva quad" system on his 04 S4 and I've never heard of anything he's talking about and it doesn't make any sense. He just got the car and when I knew him he never knew anything about cars. Anyone heard of a riva quad?

Here is what he said to me:

"i like riva quad the best though, because its compact but pumps. it basically has more air pressure per 2 cylinders because its close injection recycle."

Huh?

If this is actually something, its new to me.....

Seriously it sounds like a fuel pump that he is talking about. "compound but pumps" = a pump. "air pressure per 2 cylinders" = fuel to air ratio "close injection recycle" = injector type/ timing

Please double check this for me guys... However I know my stuff but never heard of this rivaquad either.

 

His logic doesn't make sense and he hasn't been known to know his facts behind cars or anything about modding, he's really just for show. If he really knows his stuff why would he alsoask me what company makes exhaust?

I called him out and gave him the audi lecture of modding.

shawn, I was planning on making a B5 project but once I found one in my area w/ under 60k miles, I had to head back out to college. I think I might change directions and look into an A3 after this semester.
