You did right by going with AWE, too.
That's what I did.
Talk with Mike at AWE for the final word on the clutch questions. He's the man.

I've got the ECS RS4 clutch with kevlar coating, which I like a lot. It grabs right away and has held so far (400whp)

Anyone know or can educated guess what kind of real advantage I can get with the lightweight flywheel?
(with my car and mods)

AWE is on major backorder of the lightweight flywheel, they say about 3 weeks! I don't know if it is worth it to wait.

I also don't know if there is enough benifit to justify the mod.

So, I'm wondering what difference would I see in 0-60 and 1/4 mile time. If it is AT LEAST 2/10ths for each, I think that would be worth it, if it is only 1/10th, forget it, if it's more, well, there's nothing to think about.

By the way, whats the ECS clutch? Is there a link you/anyone could provide?

Never mind.

Lightweight flywheel is about 3 weeks on backorder.
(Mike at AWE is very helpful and knowledgable-lightweight flywheel is great for heel toe shifting, quick engine response, reving quick/er and reving down quick/er other than that, he couldn't really guess as to 0-60 time and 1/4 mile time improvment.)

So, just getting the RS4 clutch installed. Should be about a week or so, I'll respond on characteristics and results!
(I've yet to mention, but, my 2nd gear was grinding on occasion when going from first to second or even downshifting into 2nd, so, Audi is replacing the tranny under warranty-a new tranny! While the techs have it open, they said they'd install the RS4 clutch for $100.00 labor! Sweet!)

lightweight flywheel should make for quicker engine response and smoother shifter under normal circumstances. however, i'm not too sure how good of an idea it is considering the AWD (Quattro) system. with more loads being put on it and the clutch, i would think that lightweight might not be the BEST option for anywhere but the track.

maybe someone with a bit more knowledge can chime in now ...
