my son has the 06 s4 in vermont and battery went dead. dont have owners manual so not sure if there are issues related to jump starting it.

anyone have info on this? where's battery/terminals, can electrical system get damaged, anyspecial procedures, etc?

I hear the LCD can get burnt out from jumping it. if you have a power pack, try charging the battery rather then jumping it.

Good luck i popped a fuse one time trying to jump my S4, (2002), but i just replaced ti after and has been fine ever since. Just make sure its just a dead battery and like not the Alt. or make sure the battery holds charge this time, if not its ognna strain the alt.
Goodluck, just a plain just should be fine tho ^^^^ use techs diagram to jump dont do neg to neg on the batteries use a ground point.
