Default s4 Exhaust??? any good? any dyno pulls?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything good or bad about this company/ products...

i was considering one from awe when someone mentioned this one below... i want a good tone that wont want me to shoot myself if driving for 13 hrs... but most importantly performance!

wow 350 for a full turbo back exhaust? thats insane considering the cheapest catback i've seen is 750 for a borla and most other cat backs are 1000+. im sure the old saying you get what you pay for somehow ties into this but who knows, it could be that mystery awesome exhaust that is a great deal. i know that if you upgrade the downpipes its going to make the cabin noise much louder for you while driving but hey for 350 its worth it to try. buy it and post vids for the rest of us

edit: this might help...

I remember SSAutochrome, I looked at their products when I was researching parts for another car, Kept finding constant negative review on their manifolds, they had cheap welds and cracked often. However, I can't really say anything about their exhaust but I will tell you to be careful, some people report great things but some don't so lucky.

Their exhaust products are acutually pretty decent. Their welds aren't great, but for the money, they aren't bad. I wouldn't buy a manifold from them, a cracked manifold is way nastier than a cracked DP flange. Although, the DPs are a ***** to replace

Anyhow, for the price, they're well worth it. Some people will talk a lot of trash about them for ripping off AWE's design, poor quality, blah blah blah. When it comes down to it, they make a decent exhaust system that will save you a ton of cash. However, the cat back section doesn't always mate up perfectly to the DPs so, be prepared to do a little welding or fork out a few bones to have an exhaust house do it for you. Also, the primary O2 bungs don't mate up with the holes in the heat shield too well, which made re-installing the O2s a bit of a pain. All that being said though, the amount of money you'll save is well worth the pain of getting around the obstacles listed above. The SSA exhaust isn't loud and has a nice tone, you'll get resonators with the kit, I suggest you install them. I don't like loud, obnoxious exhausts -- sort of defeats the purpose of driving a sleeper. The SSA kit fits that description perfectly.

Also, search the forum a bit before asking about the SSA turbo back. Normally, I would tell you to search and not give you any advice, but lucky for you, I'm bored right now and don't feel like doing laundry.

Sure thing. I've got 2000 or so miles on my SSA setup now and it's holding up and sounding great. Even if it ***** the bed in 10k miles, still a good deal for $350.

there should be a few out there, but I'd be happy to make one when I get home from work this evening. I can get you a clip at idle/engine revving this evening.
