sounds like a boost leak on the hose from the DV to the Bi Pipe...... that would explain the BOV sound, but to check the DV's take the DV off the car. Look inside and find the port with the piston. Push the piston up into the housing and then hold it there. Take your finger and cover the vac nipple and then let go of the piston. It should stay in the up position. If it falls the DV is bad.
