S4 Reliability Mods
Hi Folks,
I just picked up an S4 from a former member here. It has a Neuspeed chip, Magnaflow tips, and KN intake.
My question is.... what are the most important reliability mods I can do for this car... like belts, and such. I already did a serach but Im not crystal clear on exactly what the things mentioned were or what the reason for their replacement was. I'd need this explained in plain language, I havent done a whole lot of modding until now...also dont have a ton of cash.
MY00 Laser Red S4 w/74k.
Thanks in advance.

I was in the same situation, I just got an APR Bi Pipe, to eliminate the rubber boot problem that is experienced when the boot tears and leaks boost. I know the Bi Pipe is a some what expensive install for no performance but it's an insurance item that is the ONLY way to indefinitely solve the rubber boot problem. I upgraded to a samco Y hose first and I even popped that off of the throttle body and I am not even running a chip just stock boost. Just my two cents. I also have that Samco Y hose if you would like it, I would be that if your Y hose is the original one that came with the car it is already torn.

DVs - go Forge or Baily...I had my SAMCO Y boot pop off once...but its been a while and seems OK now...APR Bi-pipe is best solution and I think worth it for piece of mind...
Audi suspension parts seem to wear quickly as well (particularly if you lower)....not sure if u/gs are that much more reliabel or worth it. I did u/g my rear sway linkages from plastic (Audi OEM) to metal.
