Ok, I think i am going to the Stage 3 upgrade. Now is there any other way to purchase this besides the APR kit?

I dont think paying 2000 for a tune is worth it. Nevermind 7200 for the whole kit. What have you guys done?

I would like to do the turbos first, and then the fuel. But its worthless without the tune, and software.

AWE also makes a turbo kit if your interested in that but its still expensive. You can put on just the turbos but you need the inlet pipes and hardware too it will be less than the full kid but still expensive. You will also have to buy the giac chip for this and 5b FPR.

You wont get k04 power like this. You need downpipes, intercoolers, exhaust, and fueling at the very least. And if your going to go stage 3 you might as well make your car a full stage 2++ first so your READY to go stage 3. Just my opinion. To get your car to stage 3 power it will probably cost you aqt least $9,000 unless you can wrench yourself and save some money. In the next 6 months im lookng to spent close to $7000 on my car getting ready for turbos. Then ill still have the $5500 to spend on the AWE kit with fueling (what i have chosen as my path) plus pay a mechanic to do all of the work.

 

ok, then I am sure this has been posted, but does this sounds right, and what do you people guess at HP gains?:::

Downpipes, exhaust, SMIC's and what else would be a decent HP increase?

There are a dozen kits to choose from. APR doesn't have a TIP kit.

If you want the HP, you got to replace everything, from intake to exhaust.
