I'm an S4 owner but I'm curious how the TT compares to the B5 S4? Speed and handling? Overall?

Personally id take the s4. In stock form only the 225 is faster than the s4 but not by much. I think the tt's handle better than the s4 but ive never really been a fan of the s4 handling. Id rather drive an a4 with the sport suspension. The 3.2 is a pretty cool car. Not much room for mods thou. And the dsg has a delay in acceleration from a standstill. If your gonna modify it the s4 is definatly the route to go. 400hp isnt unheard of.

 

id def take S4 over TT anyday. S4 is more comfortable, way more room. i like the TT, but not over a B5 S4.

 

The TT feals faster only becouse you are closer to the ground, when actually the s4 is faster all around. and so much better of a car. The tt is loose under braking, and push's all over the place under power, but the s4 pushes under power to. But Dont hate on the TT. It is still a fast car. damn fast. Just the s4 is faster.. Ted

 

I had an 01 225 TT. APR chip, exhaust and K&N. I now have a 2005.5 6sp S4, stock. No comparison. The TT was fun, but the S4 beats it in every way. Quicker, Faster, Brakes and Handles better. Plus obviously a real back seat. The TT ran out of steam above 100mph, where the S4 just keeps pulling. Turbo aside, the S4 has more than twice the motor of the TT and it showed. Hell the TT wasn't even that much lighter. I think it was 34xx lbs. The S4 is a steal at 53k. THe TT was a rip off at 42k.
