I think I really need a test drive. My only qualms about the S4 are its lack of style compared to a TT (not hating but come on...the TT just looks sweet inside and out) and it being a 4 door sedan as opposed to a little old coupe. I think the car might just feel big to me...but then again maybe that'd be refreshing I'll have to find out.

 

TT is gorgeous in style and all ways looks even hotter when a blonde is driving

If u were comparing the B6/B7 S4 to TT then i would say its a huge dif, i love the TT esp in the 3.2 in Orange but its just not practical for me

 

I'm looking at a B5 S4 as a replacement for my TT. I have no issues with the practicality of a 2 door with a poor excuse of a backseat seeing as I'm a college student, although there have been a few times when a little more space...and a backseat...could have been useful.

U mite need to look for an S4 with a sunroof if u get up to that in the car

 

I have been looking at a S4 also and I am wondering how reliable are the Tip trannys vs. the six speed? Will the Tips hold up to mods lets say a stage 3 or do you have to upgrade them as well. Thanks.

 

you have to upgrade the TIP internals just as you would a manual... 2bennett.com has a $6800 track proven TIP... perhaps a bit of overkill for a stage2/3 street car.
