ok so the latest is ineed new turbos . they say it will cost 5,500 dollars(oh hells no) does any body no of a good tune shop i could go to in so cal. i bet someone will do it cheaper.please help..... i need to get back on the road . at this point i just want my car back and running right.

 

for that much you may as well get awetunings k04 kit and have a local shop do it

 

yea... mind as well go K04's. Problem is if your haveing someone do the work i dont think you can get the turbos changed for under a few thousand and thats if u just replace with used K03's ifyou got K04's your looking at 7-8k minimum cause of the kit and labor. and AWE right now has the cheapest off the shelf kit at $5250. if u have a 2000 it cost like 5800 or something.
And Labor on that with be expensive i think it asks for like 30 hours of labor roughly but im sure plenty of places can do it a little faster if they are familiar with the car.

im in MA, so i dont know Cali or So.Cal, nor do i know where WMS cept that they are over there haha. But if at all possible i owuld reccommend them because ive seen some nice work come out of there

 

i always hate going to the dealer
