OK, so I have done the Darintake mod, by the way, is a screen necessary?

Anywhoo, I want to upgrade the air filter, I initially thought nothing more than a K&N, however I read that a few people are afraid of hurting thier MAF with the filter oil. I have looked at the ITG's, but I didn't see a direct drop in available for our cars.

I think I am going to buy a K&N, and just not oversaturate the element with thier oil, as I have a friend with a G35 with a K&N for over two years, they utilize a MAF as well, he has had no issues. Are our MAF's that much more sensative?


Any other filters I should consider?

i got the awe s-flo intakewith the darintake mod.... it comes with a itg cone and has a real nice sound to it with the darintake mod ....however the only performance that i felt from it was the throttle response was alot smoother then before ...i dont think it gives you 8-11 hp like awe's website tells you...
