Just curious as to what you guys use when working on your cars in terms of lifts and whatnot. Personally i have been using jack stands, but i think those drive up ramps might be easier.
I tried a set of ramps but they were too steep. I think ramps would be the way to go if you can get a set that are long and not too steep, otherwise you won't be able to clear it without really f'ing up the underside of your front bumper

Jackstands
If you use those ramps you have to use wood or somehting to make it less steep
i think its time to convince my dad to put a lift in the farm shop

i would love to to have an open pit style like the oil change places, so u can go underneath the slab to get at the undercarrige without using a lift. just a thought
a pit would be awesome as well...i just wish i had access to a lift. this is going to be my 3rd time pulling the engine/trans with nothing but jackstands....oh well! at least i dont have to pay someone!
I just bought a set of ramps with extensions from Griots Garage, if my car wasn't lowered, they would be perfect, right now they just barely rub. If you have stock suspension or only a 1 inch drop, check them out.
