Whats the point of putting rims on an Audi, or window tint... We do alot of stuff to our cars purely for looks... And I have a fiancee, but thanks for the advice, I'll consider it... LMAO!

Hey man I like the idea, looks cool. I was actually thinking about doing something like that. And my car is bone stock other than exhaust, I'm not all crazy about horsepower either. Because I'm never taking my car to the track, and I'm not a big fan of street racing. I just like my car.

super glue to the rescue! haha That looks hot. So lets see, did you drill holes to put them in and where are you drawing the power from?

I drilled holes in the self leveling plastic part that the HID mounts to. I used 20 ga. solid wire, so I could bend it and it stays put. I also left the hols a bit tight, so they press in, but I made sure to use a drop of super glue to keep them put. I have two strings of 4, in parallel, so that I didnt need to use resistors. Im going to go to radio shack and get some .5 amp diodes, and wire them into both the turn signal and running light power feeds off of the bulb that clips into the headlight housing to feed current to them. that way, they will be on with the running lights, and they will blink with the turn signal.

nice job of executing your vision. looks like it may have been a fun project, except for the crack. did you crack the lens during the mod?

no, I cracked it tapping on it, trying to get my HID to light at -8*F... Its been acting flakey.

On a side note, all done. I should have used my tripod to get noce crisp exposures, but they're good enough for you to get the idea. I might go back and take some better ones later.
