Hello, I am looking at a 2001.5 Audi S4. It has a Neuspeed Short Shifter Kit installed... But like when i switch the gears its a little rough.. I have never driven with a short shifter.. so is it normal for the shifts to be a little rough...

 

what do you mean rough? rough could mean a few things...

just for reference the stock shifting is, in my opinion a bit mushy...

i haven't driven an s4 with the short shifter, but i've driven a few other cars with short shifters and they weren't rough, just more to the point as opposed ot refined...which is what you may be experiencing...if you don't like it and its good, we can swap...i want to replace my shifting when i get back to the states in june...
