so mad right now
so our crappy roads in michigan took another victim last night. im driving on the highway, at 70mph, and i hit a freaking pot hole ON THE HIGHWAY!!!! no way to avoid it or see it in time since its dark out and im doing 70. Tire doesnt go flat, but the rim has a big dent in the lip. So now i have to buy a new rim since you cant fix aluminum rims!
anyway, im super mad about this, guess thats what i get for going the speed limit in the slow lane!!!!!!

Yeah lame slow lane and I bet PA could compete for worst roads, lucky west-costers with their nice unfrozen virgin roads. You know what I actually stay in the left lane when at all possible because less people drive it and its in better condition. Yay forMichelin boo for kosei?
Ihitplenty pot holes this winter already and 2 flats around Boston. 4 new tires. alignment, and i think i need anotherone! lol...see someon the highway, not that bad. the only bad/deep ones are into the breakdown lanes. i stay in the middle lane doing the speed limit +5.
i hit a pot home in south carolina that was so deep it managed to loosen up the bolt that hold the hub to the axle, then is backed out 1/2 inch before i noticed i had to pump the brakes because it was pushing the pads all the way back in. that bold should be torqued down to 300 ft lbs or something crazy
Check outhttp://www.wheelsamerica.com They can fix some really severe damage. They charge a flat fee of $125 a rim. A new Kosei is gonna be a lot more than that. They just re-did all four of my factory wheels from my S4 and a couple of them had some bad road rash. The rims look brand new.
Get the city to pay for it. They should be keeping up the roads. Granted, it may take a while for you to get your money but they may just do it. Take lots of pics of where it happened and the damage.
