Glad I moved out of Michigan. I bent some18" rims in my old Audi in MI during the summer. Also the bilstein shock broke at the shaft, never seen that before. I was PISSED! The road had a slab missing on both sides of traffic. No BUMP sign, nothing. It was dark and I was driving home, didn't even see it till BAM..... SNAP. Limped it home, next day I jacked the car up and looked and the right rear shock was broken, and two rims were bent.

Michigan is a **** hole with no economy, and Granholm should be assassisnated for what she is doing to business in MI. Oops did I say that out loud?

Just got home from the auto show in Detroit. Had to come all the way from Holland and then back, worst highway ever. Most uncomfortable ride.

i would take skunkoncrunk's advice and send all of your receipts that you get from getting a new rim or getting it repaired. I had a friend that hit a pot hole and bent his brand new rims and messed up some of his suspension and the state paid for all of it. It would at least be worth a try. sorry to hear about your shitty roads up there in MI
