speedometer accuracy?

how accurate is the speedometer reading in the audis? i did a top speed run and i was "holy crap" it read just under 165 mph. are the 2004 s4 governed to 155? what is the fastest you can get the s-4 to run?

I have a 04 B6 S4 and the manual says it is governed at 155. I've only been to 100 so I don't know for sure.
