What do you mean it doesn't sound good? Its not supposed to run good with the belt off. [&:]
Does it still squeak with the belt off, or does it just create a different noise?

 

well i took the timing belt off also to try and eliminate that as well to see what the culprit is

 

The timing belt???? You can't run the engine with the timing belt off? You'll bend every valve in the motor the second you turn the key. While your in there change the idler pulley and eccentric pulley cause those have been known to cause a squeal noise when dirt gets in there.

LOL, well none the less, the timing belt idler pulley and eccentric pulley can very well be your problem.
