Default Squeak,Squeak....help...goin nuts

This is the wife car...'98 2.8 quattro....been getting a weird squeak in the right rear.....I recently changed the caliper slide pins...sway bar end links(was told both could be the culprit). It does not do this all the time.I have pushed on that corner when parked and produce the sound.I am down to replacing the struts....before I spend the cash on those, could there be something else I am missing?????

Bushings in the rear control arms could cause this noise.

More likely the control arms, than the struts.

Control arm bushings. Mine did the same exact thing and I sprayed them with WD40. It will crop back up when it's dry and warm out after a bit as well. Blauparts has a whole rear end bushing kit if needed in the future .

I believe you need to have a shop press them in if you order the bushing(s) seperate or you can get a new rear control arm with the bushings $$$$$.
If you opt for the control arm you can get it done in your drive if you can turn a wrench. Problem is trying to find that bugger that is causing the squeak.

Nice truck. My old lady works at Mid . Good ole Gladwin. Better than Harrison these days.
