I have a 2005.5 S4 (B7) with 51K miles. For about the past 6 months the brakes have been squeaking when braking at very low speeds (ie inching up at four way stops, carpool line, pulling into parking spot). The dealer replaced the front brakes (at my expense). Did not fix the problem. Dealer said I just don't know how to brake a performance car. I've had many including this one for over three years so I'm confident I know how to brake. Not a huge deal but a bit embarrassing picking up/dropping off at school etc. Help.

 

some brake pads squeak when they are new before they have fully seated. Other times if you have a rotor that doesn't have a nice smooth surface it can make some noise. could also be the shims or any of the things that touch the brakes like the thin brackets.
