Default squeaky door? problem solved...

for about the last month or so, my driver side door squeaked really really bad when I opened it or closed it slowly... i got tired of hearing it, and instead of buying WD-40 I wanted a fix RIGHT THAT SECOND (had a bad day, little things were buggin me) and i remembered i had some Audi DOT4 brake fluid in my trunk from a recent brake line flush... I grabbed one of my hundred rags in the back and slowly dripped the fluid on pretty much every hinge on all doors... not only did the squeaking stop but, the doors open and close much much easier now... just be careful not to get any on anything else but the hinges...

figured i'd spread the wealth a bit...

Considering theres about 100 different lubricants that will work better than brake fluid without the danger of removing the paint, I'd have to ask, why?

My door was squeaking really bad and I used WD40. That was about two months ago and it has been perfect ever since.
