haha, i did the DP install this weekend myself. Same problem not able to mat the DP's to the catback section so I'm running just the DP's my self. I'm probably going to cut a piece off of the extra piping that came with it to complete the whole thing. But at some point I will definitely weld in cut-outs. It sounds like such a beast just dumping straight out!

and yes the turbos are loud as sh*t!

you should do it man, you have flanges installed so it should be a piece of cake, especially after the shop modified your exhaust. I bet it's even easier to take the cat back components off of the hangers now. It is wicked loud, too loud for me, the drone inside the cab gets bad to the point your ear drums start to hurt.

I don't like the exhaust that loud, but I love the sound of the turbos spooling with just the DPs, sounds like a F-18 is taking off...until you really mash the gas, then the ridiculously loud engine drowns out the turbos

Klum,

How did your DP install go?

wow, i have been MIA for a while. My DP install took about 5 hours or so. Definite pain in the ***, especially those F-ing heat shields. But hey what's wrenching without bloody knuckles?

As for my suspension... I'm running Bilstein shocks with H&R springs.

Yah, those heat shield were a pain in the ***. I had to wedge a pair of pliers down to where the heat shields sit and do some bending to allow enough room for the O2 to stick through. The SSA people didn't get the primary O2 bungs quite in the right place.

I'm very happy with the H&R's had the sport springs on my A4 before this. I highly recommend them.
