That's a good idea also.
With that in mind, if your looking for LOUD then maybe you should just do
electronic cut-outs.
That way you don't have to cut the cats out at all. And you can make it quiet or loud with the flick of a switch.

ive got 3inch catless straights and it sounds awesome. you can hear the turbos at idle and when u drive up the street the turbos whistle like a diesel truck. the exhaust really isnt that loud compared to like mustangs and camaros running that slp **** and it sounds waaaayy better. the sound seems controlled still not thrashy
