So im about to leave for work this morning (todays my second day) and I notice a softball size dent on the rear driver side fender, with pletny of white paint smeared in ti. i guess i was in such a hurry to leave yesterday i didnt notice it until this morning. What a great present for your first day at a new job. All smiles over here [>:]

I just got off the phone with a body shop and im going to get an estmate at lunch. I'm hoping it wont be too bad and i can take care of it without involving my insurance company. I already pay way too much because of my age.

 

Let me know what quote they give you. The Audi dealer here in Greenville asked for $150 for a 3" long dent. It drives me nuts...it's on the passenger side rear door right below the below the bend in the door. I'll have to take pictures if I don't get it taken care of first. Kinda looks like somebody hit it with the edge of a brick or something...didn't think I pissed off anybody...except that 300ZX I dominated this morning...

Anybody get any dents taken care of and willing to pass along what you paid?

 

you know whats worse...50 bucks to clear a CEL.. Thats insnae.. Screw that..i need to buy a VAG and do it myself.

Thats to buy a new OEM fender, match the paint and reassemble. I think im gonna go through these guys even though the quotes kinda ridiclous because my family has been using this shop for 10 years and they always do great work. On the plus side im having 2 door dings pulled out while the cars in the shop, those dings have been pissing me off for months!!!!!!

 

eff that... might as well do the rs4 bumper.. you could do an oem for about 700-800 and then paint and fitting.. might be a bit more..but id rather spend 500 more for the rs4.

 

Well i have a B6 so theres no OEM RS4 bumber that would fit my car.
