I have a suspension noise when I go slow over a speed bump or going slow over a bump or pulling into my driveway. Its coming from the drivers rear area.

rear diff bushings or rear control arms. replace or upgrade the rear diff bushings. replace bushings on rear control arms... or upgrade them to the 034 units!!

 

Look at the bottom of the spring too - the A4 springs are notorious for breaking. The S4 springs are less so but still it's happened before.

 

problem solved, my 2012 s4 had the same problem and it was fixed today. A tsb just came out from audi this week addressing the issue (sept 9)....my repair order reads as follows.."loosen subframe engine mount and transmission to allow everything to settle"
