Suspension Opinions
I've heard from my bimmer friends that Sport suspension for BMW's is pretty terrible and track is the way to go(they have '97 540 and '95 M3). However, AWE has a Sport suspension for the B5 (H&R springs, Bilstein shocks) which looked and (they claimed) performed pretty good. has anyone seen/had this setup, or should i look for something else??
H&R + Bilstein is a very common BMW suspension also!
When you say sports suspension, are you talking about the stock sport package, or aftermarket?
I can honestly say, if you get the AWE kit, it will be MUCH better then stock! I went with Vogland coil overs on my S4, and they ROCK! A little on the soft side, but about 15-20% stiffer then OEM.
