Assuming both cars are bone stock.......and both man. tran.......

 

I just watched a clip on youtube about the evo vs. sti vs. b6 s4. I beleive this was 05 and the evo beat them both and the sti and s4 were extremely close. I would try and find that clip it will probably come down to driver.

You have about 50hp more than the STI but you also weigh a lot more. Like they said, probably come down to the driver but I'd expect to see the S4 win, at least I hope so

B6 S4's are rated at what 340? The STi's depending on the year range from 300-320. But they only weigh low 3000's.

 

The STI still looks like it has a stick up its behind! I raced an EVO with just a chip (GIAC)and DV's and I smoked this guy twice! and yes he was trying.

Face it guys, in terms of raw speed at stock EVO & STI > AUDI.... I love my audi and all... but in pure performance these cars are superior.

 

apples to oranges. The s4 is sweet and i love it, but heavy as hell. The sti and evo are made just for performance and track. Now, take a modded s4 and things change a bit. What it comes down to is driver. Sti and evo have shatload of lag too so if you catch one in the wrong gear, then you got em.
